Join the Local Trusted Electricians Team
We are looking for licensed electricians and motivated apprentices who take pride in their work and want to build a long-term career with a company that invests in its people.
Local Trusted Electricians has been serving homeowners and businesses across California and New Jersey for more than 25 years, and the quality of our team is the single most important reason customers return to us. We serve 54 cities across two states, which means our electricians work on a wide variety of projects — panel upgrades, whole-home rewiring, EV charger installations, commercial tenant improvements, and emergency response. If you are a licensed electrician who values doing the work right the first time, or an apprentice who wants to learn from experienced professionals in a structured and supportive environment, we want to hear from you. Every application is reviewed by our hiring team personally.

Quality Tools & Equipment
We equip every electrician with the tools and materials needed to do the job right the first time.
The culture at Local Trusted Electricians is built around accountability and craft. We hire people who care about doing the work correctly — not the fastest way or the cheapest way, but the right way. That means pulling every permit the job requires, using code-compliant materials on every installation, and treating every customer's property with respect. We are a team where experienced electricians mentor apprentices, where problems are solved directly rather than passed up a chain, and where showing up prepared and on time is the baseline expectation for everyone including management. If that is the kind of environment where you do your best work, you will fit in here.
Our Culture and Values
Day to day at Local Trusted Electricians, this is what working here actually feels like — not a mission statement, but how the team operates.
Every job starts with a clear scope and a plan. Our electricians arrive prepared, introduce themselves to the customer, and walk through the work before starting. We protect work areas, clean up as we go, and do not leave until the job is tested and signed off. New team members are paired with experienced leads on their first jobs so they understand our standards before working independently. Safety is non-negotiable — every team member follows lock-out tag-out procedures, wears appropriate PPE, and flags anything that does not look right before proceeding. We serve communities across California and New Jersey, and we take that responsibility seriously as a company and as individuals.
If you do not see a role that matches your exact background, apply anyway. We are a growing company and our hiring needs change regularly — a strong application from the right person will always get a response. We value attitude and work ethic as much as credentials, and we provide full licensing support for apprentices who are committed to progressing. Every application submitted through this page is reviewed by our hiring team, not filtered by software. If your background and values align with how we work, we will reach out. We look forward to hearing from you.
