Our Story and Mission

Local Trusted Electricians was built on a straightforward idea — that homeowners and businesses deserve an electrician who shows up on time, explains the work clearly, and charges what they quoted.

Local Trusted Electricians was founded with a single conviction: that the electrical industry needed more companies willing to do the work right the first time and stand behind it. We started serving residential customers in California and have grown over more than 25 years to cover 54 cities across California and New Jersey. Our growth has always followed the same principle — we only expand into communities where we can deliver the same standard of service we provide in the markets we know best. Every electrician on our roster is licensed under the state licensing authority, carries full liability insurance, and completes every job to National Electrical Code standards with permits pulled where required.

Serving California and New Jersey

What began as a California operation has expanded to serve communities in New Jersey as well, bringing the same licensed team, the same fixed-price model, and the same permit-ready process to both coasts. Across California, we serve cities from the Bay Area through Los Angeles and Orange County to the Central Coast — covering a range of housing types, utility providers, and local code requirements that demand genuine regional expertise. In New Jersey, we serve Fair Haven and Wood-Ridge with the same standard applied everywhere. Whether the job is a panel upgrade in a 1920s Craftsman or an EV charger installation in a new-construction home, the approach does not change: assess accurately, quote honestly, and complete the work to pass inspection.

Re-Entry Safety Advisory

Before You Return to a Flooded Property

Has your property been evacuated or marked unsafe? Wait until civil authorities officially allow entry. Receding water does not automatically mean a building is safe to enter.

Immediate Danger: Leave the area immediately and call 911 if you encounter active sparking, structural instability, or immediate hazards.
Property Access & Electrical Inspection Protocol
⚠️ Flood-Exposed Systems: Our electricians recommend having all flood-exposed wiring, service panels, and outlets evaluated before any circuits are energized or used again.
✓ Requesting Service: Once official entry access is permitted, call with your address and a description of what areas were affected by water.
✓ Future Preparation: For future weather events, a safety inspection can identify existing electrical concerns while the property is completely dry and safe.
We hope you and your loved ones are somewhere safe.
